BGCA Marketing Plan Challenge
Teens will learn marketing fundamentals and develop skills in communication, collaboration to develop a marketing plan for a new advanced life and workforce readiness program that BGCA will provide to older teens and young adults ages 16-24. BGCA is exploring the market for advanced life and workforce readiness opportunities among 16-24 year olds in local communities across the United States. Young people who complete the advanced life and workforce readiness program would receive a portable credential recognized by employers across the country. The goal of this project is to conduct a market analysis of 16-24 year olds across the country and to develop a go-to-market strategy. Project Next is an initiative (program) by BGCA that facilitates advanced opportunities to Boys and Girls clubs for young people 16-24. The thought behind the challenge is young people are the best conduits to market this opportunity to clubs for other young people. Youth ages 16 and older will earn $12/hour for up to 8 hours a week for 8 weeks during the challenge.
