survey developmentOur organization is interested in offering production floor employees another option to improve comfort while standing. As part of our goal to reduce anti-fatigue mats, we would like assistance with understanding the pros and cons of using insoles to reduce fatigue and increase comfort while standing. We would like students to develop a feedback survey for a group of employees focusing on evaluating two different insoles within established working conditions & tasks (which will be determined by us). The two insoles for comparison will be Mega Comfort (currently in use) and Form (firm style insole).
We envision this project to include, but not be limited to:
- Develop survey of questions comparing insole fit & comfort.
- Document working conditions & task descriptions (e.g. employee works in a Beef plant, stands on concrete with minimal walking, floor surface is wet and slippery).
- Analyze the data and provide recommendations based on survey results (e.g. which insole was rated highest for fit & comfort? Did preference depend on working conditions and/ or task?)
By the end of this project, we hope to provide North America Protein sites with an additional or alternative option to improve employee comfort while standing and walking.
