Cosmic Living aims to inspire boldness through a new line of fashion and home accessories that celebrate the vibrancy of cultures and the beauty of nature. The project involves designing a cohesive collection that incorporates vivid colors and intricate patterns. The vision is an Anthropologie like brand, but more ethnic and full of symbolism. The goal is to create products that not only stand out but also resonate with Cosmic Living's mission to bring more boldness into people's lives. The team will research cultural motifs and natural elements, translate these inspirations into design concepts, and develop prototypes. Additionally, a marketing strategy will be crafted to effectively promote the new line, ensuring it reaches the target audience and aligns with Cosmic Living's brand identity.



Key tasks include:


  • Researching cultural and natural inspirations
  • Designing fashion and home accessory items
  • Developing prototypes
  • Creating a marketing plan
  • Creating Ads and Digital renderings
  • Conducting photo and video shoots
Deliverables

The project will result in:


  • A collection of 10-15 fashion and home accessory designs
  • Prototypes of selected designs - final selections will be produced in bulk by Cosmic Living
  • Conduct video and photoshoots
  • Build landing pages for selected products
  • Market and launch ads for products
  • Build social media content
  • Attend vendor markets


These deliverables will demonstrate the application of design principles, cultural research, and marketing strategies learned in the classroom.


The above maybe require a team of 2 students to work together as we will aim to go from ideation to selling the product by the end of the term. This is a fantastic opportunity to see your creation come to life and actually witness consumers buying it.
