presentations canva (software) banner ads graphic design project management blog posts infographics thumbnails branding digital marketingOur company is an early stage start-up with no assets other than a logo. We are looking to create a library of assets consistent with our brand for use in blog posts, digital marketing campaigns and presentations.
This may involve:
- Meeting with the project manager to evaluate the choices made for the branding book to ensure it is aligned with company branding goals, and making any necessary revisions.
- Designing and presenting thumbnails for design assets (banner ad, illustration, infographic, etc) based on the branding guide to be included in a proposal and presented to the project manager.
- Executing the full designs for each branding asset using Canva, based on the approved thumbnails.
- Creating multiple thumbnails with different color schemes based on the colors in the branding guide.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):
- Created a new branding guide to dictate company usage of font, color, and imagery.
- Met with the project manager to discuss the branding guide, and completed any changes required.
- Presented a proposal of brand asset design thumbnails to the project manager to be approved for final designs.
- Created the final designs for each brand assets using Canva.
Bonus steps would include:
- Including multiple thumbnails with different color schemes based on the colors in the branding guide.
Final deliverables should include
- A new branding book for our company with information about how our brand should be communicated in terms of fonts, colors, logo usage, and images.
- A set of graphic design assets based on the branding book and design proposal.
Students will connect directly with the founder throughout the project. He will be able to provide answers to any questions the students have including but not limited to:
- Are there any themes or colors that should be introduced?
- What images, quotes, or taglines should be included in each design asset?
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
