About Solstice Design:
We're Solstice Design, a web design firm from Vancouver, dedicated to providing high-quality design and marketing solutions to small businesses. By merging creativity with analytics, we help our clients stand out and thrive in a competitive digital landscape. We're currently seeking a Digital Advertising Intern who is passionate about creating effective advertising campaigns and has a keen interest in digital marketing.
What Youโll Do:
- Digital Ad Campaign Management: Launch, oversee, and adjust online advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, tailored to align with the objectives of both small businesses and our organization.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics tools to evaluate the success of campaigns, interpret key data patterns, and provide recommendations for strategic enhancements.
- Ad Content Creation: Develop compelling advertisements and carefully select effective keywords to enhance digital presence and draw in the desired demographic.
- Marketing Portfolio Development: Enhance client marketing portfolios by applying creative and tactical marketing strategies that drive success.
Key Deliverables:
- Advertising Strategy Debriefs: Produce comprehensive presentations (PDF format) that outline the rationale, implementation, and outcomes of advertising efforts.
- Keyword Optimization Documents: Maintain and refine documents that track and strategize keyword usage essential for campaign optimization.
- Analytical Performance Reviews: Generate detailed reports that summarize campaign results, provide key insights, and suggest strategies for future marketing initiatives.
- Google Ads Campaign Summaries: Manage and document the progress of Google Ads campaigns, preparing detailed reports and visual aids for presentation to stakeholders.

About the organization
We think of digital marketing not as a single practice, but as an ever-changing landscape of intertwined ones. Logo design is inseparable from brand identity, websites and merchandising are inseparable from an understanding of consumer preferences, and improving human relationships is the ultimate goal of any project. Aesthetic movements come and go, but we have found this principle to be timeless.
As partners, we strive for honesty and transparency. Our primary goal is to understand our clientโs vision and particular needs, with our expertise serving to guide, not force. We value punctuality, direct communication and prototypes over presentations, as well as the occasional face-to-face meeting to flesh things out.
Over the years, we have had the opportunity to work with some excellent clients on some magnificent projects. Despite a common belief between ourselves and our clients that our work is a success, we continue to maintain strong working relationships, and provide support whenever necessary. A brand and its component materials exist in time, with success measured by continued performance, as opposed to immediate impressions.
We are proud of our West Coast heritage, with our own brand aiming to exemplify the interconnected, and deeply conscious nature of life in Vancouver. That said, we would not consider ourselves members of a West Coast school of design. Broad application of one regional style has no place in digital marketing, where a brand and its materials must first and foremost be suited to each clientโs needs. Though some clients may wish to engage with similar branding styles, we aim to never limit our scope with hard, fast, and fundamentally archaic rules, instead opting for a free-flowing approach to design and marketing, making room for innovation.
