Jonnetta Thomas-Chambers (she/her/hers), Ph.D., Educational Leadership; M.A, Human Resources Management, is a learning and development professional, university professor, consultant, and speaker. She works with emerging and experienced organizational leaders and human resources professionals, impacts learners from more than 11 countries, and has training curricula in the North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Dr. Thomas-Chambers has more than 30 years of experience, working with for- and non- profit organizations. She is a published author and researcher, earning a wealth of business, community service and leadership awards, including U.C. Riverside’s Community Member of the Year, "Women Pioneering the Future" Leadership Award. Dr. Thomas-Chambers is also the recipient of U.C. Riverside, University Extension's Outstanding Instruction award.

An individual or team of students from the University of California Riverside, University Extension can provide a fresh perspective, analysis, and recommendations for consideration, to support your organization with a specific problem or process. Using a consultant-friendly, project-driven approach, they will work together to research a Risk Management topic ( i.e. risk management culture, data assembly, risk analysis, strategic decisions, continuous improvement, legal issues, insurance, risk management process, etc. ). Students will conduct a comprehensive literature review (research) and investigate a specific risk management topic on behalf of a Client (business organization). Any potential gaps between the literature and the practical application of the Client’s proposed topic will be identified and recommendations made for improvement. Note :  The class size will be updated, to represent the total # of students who actually select and complete a project with a Riipen partnering organization.
